The fixed temperature APOLLO SERIES 65 smoke detector is composed of an open spider web chamber that filters the air towards the thermistor which samples the air temperature every 2 seconds. A microprocessor stores the data detected and compares it with the pre-established alarm threshold. Once the maximum threshold has been reached, the sensor sends the alarm signal to the control unit. Usually this type of sensor is used in particular environments, where the air temperature is already high.
