The APOLLO SERIE 65 optical smoke detector is based on an innovative and substantially different technology compared to conventional sensors. Although the operation is based on the traditional light detection principle, it is equipped with a new optical system that broadens the sensitivity spectrum of the various types of smoke regardless of their color. For this reason, the Orbis optical smoke sensor can be calibrated at different sensitivity levels that allow greater efficiency and a drastic reduction in false alarms while maintaining compliance with international standards.
