Smart Mode on Klima Radiator

Integrating Klima radiators into your home automation system is easy: simply connect an external remote control compatible with your system. This way, you can manage your heating intelligently, without complications, taking full advantage of the features of your smart home.

Thanks to the ability to combine remote and local control, Klima radiators offer maximum management flexibility. This solution can meet every need: from simple management in a private home to efficient control in hospitality facilities such as B&Bs and hotels.

The radiators communicate with the control devices via a cable, ensuring stable and reliable operation. This physical connection simplifies integration with different home automation systems and ensures precise control in any context.

The radiator uses a pilot wire, a special cable that receives signals from external control devices. When the pilot wire is powered, the radiator enters Comfort mode, ensuring the desired temperature. If the wire is not powered, the radiator automatically switches to Antifreeze mode, protecting the environment without wasting energy. This simple and intuitive system allows you to easily manage your heating according to your needs, without complications.

The operating modes are selected using the "M" button. Press it repeatedly until the "FP" icon appears in the lower right corner of the display.

The default temperature, valid for Smart mode operation and restored after any prolonged power outage, is the one set for Comfort mode.

You can change it by pressing the "M" button to select Comfort mode and then using the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired value before activating Smart mode.

Using a specific configuration to be set during installation, it is possible to limit temperature variations within a range of ±4°C compared to the temperature set for Comfort mode.

The absence of a signal applied to the pilot wire forces the radiator into Antifreeze mode with a fixed, unchangeable set temperature of 7.0°C.

If using an external thermostat, you must disable the radiator thermostat during the initial setup. Once disabled, the display will no longer show the Comfort temperature, but instead will show 3 small symbols to indicate that the temperature is being controlled by an external device.

The radiator features a keypad lock system, designed to prevent accidental changes or unauthorized intervention. In configurations that include it, it is still possible to adjust the temperature, thus maintaining full control over comfort without sacrificing the protection of your settings.
