The REDSCAN mini-Pro INLID2020VCAM sensor creates virtual 20 x 20 meter 95 degree sensing walls or planes and analyzes the size, location and distance of an object to determine if an intrusion is occurring. Designed to operate effectively in both outdoor and indoor environments, it has been equipped with a camera module for alarm verification and event recording.
Part of the award-winning REDSCAN series, the new INLID2020VCAM model offers extremely precise LiDAR detection and ultra-fast response times, so as to avoid any type of delay in detecting an intrusion. Equipped with an integrated camera, the INLID2020VCAM allows you to verify events and record them for post-event analysis. With an extended detection range of up to 30 meters and 95 degrees, it is ideal for protecting high-value assets, as well as high-security buildings and perimeters. Furthermore, it is compatible with ONVIF Profile S and has additional outputs and protocols that allow seamless integration into your existing security infrastructure.
Camera integration for comprehensive analysis
The INLID2020VCAM model features a built-in camera that adds an additional level of intelligence. As the LiDAR sensor detects any suspicious activity, the camera checks for the cause, capturing and saving logs and detailed images in its internal memory. Thanks to the integrated IR LED, the surveillance function is active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This way, whatever the lighting conditions, your premises or assets will always be protected. The sensor's large storage space allows for more than 500 sensing elements to be stored in memory, thus offering extensive data for post-event analysis.
Custom sensing and flexible mounting options
This newly released LiDAR sensor is designed to adapt to the specific needs of your site. You can therefore choose between various mounting options – wall, ceiling and pole – and set a horizontal or vertical detection. In landscape mode, the REDSCAN mini-Pro INLID2020VCAM can protect roofs, skylights and ceilings; in portrait mode, however, it can create virtual walls to protect assets, facades, perimeters and narrow areas around buildings. If the area you need to protect is long, the extended detection range allows coverage of up to 30 meters at 95 degrees.
The detection area can be divided into up to 8 independent zones and for each of them it is possible to customize the size of the target object, the sensitivity and the alarm output. It offers great flexibility in adapting settings depending on the location of the zones and the level of danger.
Unbeatable performance in challenging environmental conditions
Trust the REDSCAN mini-Pro to detect intrusions even in the most hostile environmental conditions, as well as in complete darkness. The sensor is designed to operate from very cold temperatures of -40°C up to scorching temperatures of +60°C, without being affected by rain, snow, wind or bright light. The REDSCAN mini-Pro boasts excellent resistance to environmental factors, ensuring constant and accurate performance even in extreme weather conditions.
Network connectivity and security
The REDSCAN mini-Pro was designed with network connectivity and security in mind. OPTEX has been a member of ONVIF since 2019, and the new REDSCAN model complies with ONVIF profile S, which allows it to integrate seamlessly with other devices in the safety network system. It also complies with advanced security networks, including HTTPS, SNMPv3 and IEEE802.1X, which provide a secure connection.
Dynamic map streaming
You can use photos and map images to overlay the detection area and improve your understanding of the situation. The "scan zone" or "object location" can be sent to ONVIF compliant software/devices when an alarm occurs.
