Filter cartridge consisting of a wrapping of selected polypropylene fibers on an internal support framework in pure polypropylene.
The type of winding is so called "honeycomb".
This particular type of winding gives rise to hundreds of dozens of funnel-shaped and helical channels that start from the outside towards the inside of the cartridge. These channels allow a progressive and deep filtration and allow a gradual retention of the particles and without giving rise to pressure jumps due to surface clogging. By varying the design of the "honeycomb" winding, the entire range of possible filtration degrees within the range from 1 up to about 100 microns is obtained.

Built in polypropylene, this cartridge finds the widest fields of application both in the water sector and in the most varied sectors of chemistry and technical uses.

Cartridge also allowed for the filtration of drinking water only if used on composite equipment with final antibacterial safety filter or equivalent system.
