APOLLO XP95 analog temperature sensor
The RIN557 sensor is classified class A2S, according to the EN54-5: 2000 standards. The A2S class sensors are normally used in environments where the maximum temperature under normal conditions does not exceed 50 ° but where there may nevertheless be sudden changes in temperature. The thermistor provides an output proportional to the external air temperature. This output signal is processed by an A / D converter and sent to the ASIC circuit. This value is transmitted to the control panel when the device is interrogated. When the EN54 control panel reads a value greater than 55, a fire alarm will be initialized. If the time between one polling and the next is greater than one second and the detector autonomously goes into alarm, a spontaneous transmission of the address and alarm values (Alarm Flag) takes place. This feature allows the transmission of the alarm signal in about 2 seconds. The detector is calibrated to provide a value of 25 ± 5 at a temperature of 25 °, and consequently a value of 55 at a temperature of 55 °. XP95 detectors are insensitive to wind and atmospheric pressure and have a temperature range between - 20 ° C and + 70 ° C. (LPCB, VDS and CPD CERTIFICATE).
